- Client and booking data — information cleaning businesses enter or collect about their clients, such as names, addresses, service details, and scheduling.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processors; we receive limited details such as status and the last four digits of a card, not full card numbers.
- Location data — service addresses for booking and route optimization, and GPS clock-in data from cleaners where enabled.
- Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser type, and interactions with the Service.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service, including booking, scheduling, payments, and route optimization.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and updates.
- To send transactional and, where permitted, marketing messages (you can opt out of marketing).

3. Roles
For data that cleaning businesses upload about their own clients and staff, the business is the controller and NeatlyClean acts as a processor on its behalf. For account and website data, NeatlyClean is the controller.
4. How we share information
- Service providers — hosting, database, email, SMS, mapping, and payment processors (such as Render, Turso, Resend, Twilio, Mapbox, and Stripe) that process data on our behalf under contract.
- Within your business — with users you invite (owners, managers, cleaners) according to their roles.
- Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and limited analytics to understand and improve usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request export or deletion as described below.
